Karen Fifield - Property Manager

Karen has had a passion for real estate for many years and has worked in various capacities within the industry throughout her career. Karen first developed practical experience as an appraisal and accounting assistant starting in 2001. She then joined Prudential Real Estate as an award winning agent for over a decade, finding joy in marketing and selling homes as well as matching clients to the best home for them. She spent six years overseas, in Paraguay and the Dominican Republic, and worked as the leasing assistant at U.S. Embassies for the General Services Office in both locations. She then served as the Community Liaison Office Coordinator in Santo Domingo, resulting in several recognition awards as she assisted families with their transition and housing overseas. Karen’s degree in sociology prepared her to analyze and anticipate people’s relocation concerns, from both the landlord and tenant perspective. Additionally, she has managed her own two rental properties. Having returned with her husband, four children, and family pets to her Northern Virginia “home base,” Karen is excited to throw this passion and all her efforts into property management with Globe Trotter Properties where she is committed to fulfill the company mission by providing empathy and understanding for her clients as she assists with their housing needs.
